The Uru Murato communities of Lake Poopó have, because of climate change and environmental extractivism in the Bolivian Altiplano, lost the very lake that defined their subsistence, livelihoods, and culture; this project seeks to document the Uru community's environmental and cultural challenges through short film, long-form articles, and photo essays, to raise global climate change awareness, while giving voice and visibility to the Uru nation themselves.
